How does facemask reconditioning work?

Facemasks are brought to us in varying conditions. When they arrive they are inspected for bends, weld breaks, and spreading. Facemasks that pass inspection are sent to remove the existing coating in a chemical bath. When the bare metal masks come back, they are heated and hand-dipped in a thermoplastic powder coating, then sealed with heat and hung to cool. All recondition facemasks fit NOCSAR standards when complete.
